General Information
Alphareans are a dragon-dog hybrid species. There are three different types based off of their body build. There are Aquatic, Land-Dwelling, and Flight Alphareans. The Aquatic ones have fins and gills, the Land-Dwelling ones have very muscular builds and shorter wings, and the Flight ones have large wings spans and nimbler bodies.

Pyshical Appearance

Eyes: Their eyes are similar to humans with colored irises around the pupils. Their pupils are black and the irises range in a variety of different colors unlike humans. Some of these creatures have been noticed to have black sciera instead of white, but the rest of the eye is identical to the other eye type.

Mouth: Their mouths have teeth similar to humans but there a multiple types of teeth within the species. Some have carnivorous teeth while others have herbivorous and carnivorous teeth. A few of these creatures have herbivorous teeth but it’s quite rare. The tongues of this species range in length from specimen to specimen, but they all have a fork at the end of them.

Ears: They have ears similar to foxes that can range in lengths from short to long. They have fur covering them on the inside and outside. Some of these creatures have been seen to have fluff protruding from the ends of their ears.

Snout: Typically they have long snouts that resemble a wolf’s snout, but some have shorter snouts that are similar to a cat’s snout.

Whiskers: Some of the creatures have whiskers that grow in length as they age. It’s not common but quite a few have this trait.

Horns: Most of these creatures have two horns on their head right above their eyes, but some have two or three sets of horns. Occasionally they have spikes that start on their forehead between their set of horns that continue down their spines.

Necks:
Their necks are slightly elongated and can range in bulk depending on the specimen’s body shape. Some have longer necks than usual but this trait is rare.

Legs: They have long legs that have a slit along the back of them where there wings remain while retracted. Depending on their body build, their legs can be limber or muscular.

Paws: Their paws are able to grasp and hold onto items. Some of these specimens have webbing between their fingers to aid in swimming. The padding of their paws are similar to wolf’s padding but there is a slit dividing the palm pad in half where the retractable wings reside when retracted.

Claws: Claw length varies between body types. Lean, skinny specimens have shorter claws while the muscular built speciemens have long, piercing claws.

Wings: They have retractable wings that rest inside the flesh of the forearms. They can release and retract them as they please, but they usually only release them when they’re flying/swimming.

Fins/Gills: Some of the creatures have the capability of breathing underwater. This is due to the appearance of gills on their necks and stomach. They also have a large fin along their spine on their back and webbed paws. They usually have longer tails with long webbed fins on the end.

Tails: Their tails are long and slender with a trait at the end. Most have wings/fins on the end to aid in flight/swimming, but some have spikes and other unique characteristics.
